She's here!!

Well after a lot of heartache, heartburn and fake contractions smiley we finally have our second child!  Rosemary was born on the 11th April (38+3) weighing an impressive 9lb4oz.  I started using a homestudy hypnobirthing course and it made my birth experience this time such a positive one I can't wait to do it all over again (once I've convinced hubby of course smiley )  I managed 15 hours of contractions on paracetamol and one dose of codeine, got in the pool for two hours

Coming home now ... been so long now!!

In the words of one of my favourite boyzone songs (yes i know you can roll your eyes) its weeks, days, hours, minutes till he'll be home!! I can't believe how quickly time has flown, I re-read what i wrote after hubby had been away for 5 weeks and I was seriously wondering how i would cope for another 11 weeks or so, but here I am on the Final Countdown.

5 weeks down 11 more to go!!

we are 5 weeks into to hubby's 16 week tour! in some ways it seems to have gone quickly and in others its been like a lifetime!!! last time i blogged i was having a hard time (the post disappeared) but another week down and its getting better we are slowly getting a good routine and they love nursery which is helping! they made me cry today but not in a bad way ... we were walking home from nursery and some jets took off and they shouted bye bye daddy go to the penguins see you soon ... i guess they are slowly coming to terms with it!!

I'm back!!

It's been a long time since I did a blog entry smiley so I figured it was about time I did one.

I am now 15 weeks pg with number 2. We had an awful first scan where we were told it was all over again, I drank lots of wine and cried a lot. They found the baby 4 days later. Then I had a small bleed at 8 weeks which put the fear of God into me, but again all wa okay, and at the 11 week scan we had caught up and our dates were spot on!

So we are due on the 22nd April, so an Easter baby. I can't wait, we are both really excited smiley

our house ... in the middle of our street

well ladies we have finally moved 4 months after getting notice to move we have finally moved to raf marham in norfolk! the last 3 and half weeks have been a nightmare we've been living here there and everywhere which ha made planning etc... for work so tough, plus the girls have been very confused, saying that though every farm/zoo and sealife place they've been to with grandma or daddy whilst i've been at work they've come home with a new stuffed toy!

3rd time lucky!

I have not updated this for a long time!!! mainly as there was nothing to tell lol, there are only so may times you can talk about cm and bding before it gets repetitive on a blog!! smiley

But we have some news - this morning we got our very own BFP! It started to show quite quickly although very faintly and has gotten darker over the morning, but it is definitely there!!

end of an era .... beginning of a big adventure!

Well its been a week of lasts.... i had my last day at work, it was our last jo jingles and finally today the twins had their last day at nursery! I still can't quite believe that in a few short weeks we will be starting a new life down in norfolk with new jobs, new friends and hopefully a new house!! in terms of organising things seem to be fitting together nicely today i have rang the local nursery and they have places there, i hope they'll like it there and as soon as we have a finalised moving date they will organise some settling in sessions.

They're trouble ya'll!

My God I swear my girls are going to have me in an early grave, double trouble is certainly an appropriate name at the minute. We are 2 weeks off their 2nd birthday and the temper tantrums and stroppiness has gotten a million times worse! What is really taking its toll on me is the way they can be so loving to me and each other one minute and the next izzy will have lizzy in a headlock and pulling her hair out! Seriously I'm thinking of giving them to wwe wrestling!

All over again.

Well, as the title says, we are no longer pregnant - we had another missed miscarriage which was a little different than last time. We went for the early scan at 8 weeks to be told there was a 6 week old fetus and no heartbeat, but it could still be too early. So we phoned EPU the next day who told us to go in but wouldn't scan again and set us a date for a week later.

They then told us the baby had shrunk to 5 weeks and there was still no heartbeat but to rescan in a week to be sure - so there was yet another week from hell.

Just plodding along!

Well im still here just plodding along at CD18! I was hoping to have a break from all things TTC but what with this diet im following its hard to forget! I also had EWCM for the first time in ages, so that was extremely exciting and me and the Hubby got down to some serious bding at the weekend! smiley The only problem is I have no idea about my cycles anymore as they are completely up the creek so am going to wait until at least CD50 before I let myself think about it.
